Welcome to the Taylor and Holmes website.

By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

  • This website is owned and operated by T&H Catering Pty Ltd trading as Taylor and Holmes (“Taylor and Holmes”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
  • These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, and any orders placed through it.
  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time without notice.

2. Orders & Payment for catering orders

  • Orders can be placed online, via email, or by phone.
  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (unless otherwise stated).
  • Payment terms catering orders: A 50% deposit is required to secure your catering date. Full payment is required prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and bank transfer.
  • Menus, final guest numbers and dietary requirements are to be confirmed 14 days prior to the order. Increased numbers may be accommodated by agreement.
  • Any additional charges. (additional staffing hours, equipment loss or damage)will be invoiced after the event.

3. Cancellations & Refunds for catering orders

  • Cancellations for catering orders must be made in writing to [email protected] Cancellation fees may apply:
    • Cancellations for catering order more than 24 hours before the order: Full refund or account credit.
    • Within 24 hours of catering order: non-refundable
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed via the original payment method.
  • No refunds will be provided for change-of-mind or late cancellations.

4. Orders & Payment for Weddings and Events

  • Orders can be placed via email, or by phone.
  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (unless otherwise stated).
  • Payment terms for weddings and events: a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total estimated cost is required to confirm your booking and secure your event date. This deposit covers initial planning and administration.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and bank transfer.
  • Menus, final guest numbers and dietary requirements are to be confirmed 14 days prior to the event. Increased numbers may be accommodated by agreement.
  • Any additional charges. (additional staffing hours, equipment loss or damage) will be invoiced after the event.

5. Cancellations & Refunds for Weddings and Events

  • Cancellations for weddings and events must be made in writing to [email protected] Cancellation fees may apply:

o Cancellation by the client.

  • More than 6 months before the event: Deposit is non-refundable.
  • Any additional payments made will be refunded.
  • 3–6 months before the event: Deposit retained plus 50% of the estimated total event cost is payable.
  • 1–3 months before the event: Deposit retained plus 75% of the estimated total event cost is payable.
  • Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of the estimated total event cost is payable.

o Postponements

  • Subject to availability, you may postpone your event to a new date within 12 months.
  • Payments already made will be transferred to the new booking.
  • Please note pricing and menu selections may be adjusted to reflect rates and produce at the time of the new booking.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed via the original payment method.
  • No refunds will be provided for change-of-mind or late cancellations.

o Cancellation by Taylor & Holmes Catering

  • In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, all payments (including the deposit) will be refunded in full.
  • We will also make every effort to assist in finding suitable alternative catering solution

o Cancellation due to Events beyond control

  • Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations if caused by events beyond reasonable control (including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other emergencies).
  • In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your event. Refunds are not guaranteed but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

6. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

  • Taylor and Holmes food preparation is undertaken in accordance with the Food Standards set out by Food Standards Australia.
  • While we take great care in preparing food, Taylor and Holmes cannot guarantee that our food is free from all traces of allergens (including nuts, gluten, dairy, seafood, etc.).
  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies in writing at the time of ordering.
  • We are not liable for any adverse reactions caused by food consumed from our catering services.

7. Delivery & Setup

  • Delivery times will be confirmed at the time of order.
  • Orders can be delivered or collected from Mile End SA 5031 between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday – Friday.
  • Saturday and Sunday catering can be organised by arrangement.
  • Additional fees may apply for delivery or collection outside standard business hours, to specific locations, or for setup/pack-down.
  • Standard delivery fee is $25.00 per order for all deliveries within a 20-kilometre radius of Mile End 5031 SA. Outside this radius will be quoted as requested.
  • Once delivered, food becomes the responsibility of the client and should be stored and consumed in line with safe food handling practices.

8. Event Staffing & Equipment Hire (if applicable)

  • Staffing and equipment hire (if offered) will be confirmed in writing.
  • Prices do not include staffing. Every order and event are unique and may require wait staff and/or chefs. Prices are calculated per staff member per hour.
  • Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

Front of house / on-site chef weekday before 6pm $60.00 + GST

Front of house / on-site chef weekday after 6pm $65.00 + GST

Front of house / on-site chef Saturday/ Sunday anytime $70.00 + GST

Front of house / on-site chef Public Holiday anytime $75.00 + GST

  • Minimum staff hire is 3 hours and is calculated from Mile End, 5031 SA to your venue and return.
  • Clients are responsible for the safe return of any Taylor & Holmes and hired equipment. Any loss or damage will incur replacement costs.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taylor and Holmes excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
  • Our liability for any breach of consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law is limited, at our discretion, to:
    • Replacement of goods or re-supply of services, or
    • Refund of the amount paid.

10. Intellectual Property 

  • All content on this website (including text, images, logos, and design) is the property of Taylor and Holmes and is protected by copyright laws.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

11. Privacy 

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and manage personal information.

12. Governing Law 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
